For several weeks I have been reading and doing real-time analytic measuring. I would be very interested in (if) seeing how Ion Interactive has been able to make the next step in CRO. That is to use real-time social measurement dashboards (there are a few good ones!) side by side Ion Interactive's LiveBall Dashboard.
It may not even have been invented yet, but I believe we are going to see this year a true real-time dashboard where we can see direct and measurable results about what the social web is saying, mashed with CRO Dashboard analytics, such as LiveBall.
To give you a birds eye view of what I am talking about, I would encourage Ion Interactive Staff to check out what BetaWorks.com has come up with. https://chartbeat.com/tour/ . Another social measurement dashboard is http://www.trackur.com/ .
It's all about connecting the dots. To maximize CRO, we need to be actively engaged in social measurement. I would like to see how Ion Interactive is taking on this challenge: How is my CRO analytics affected by real-time social measurement?
If the web is impulsive, we need to be able to see a direct correlation between how prospects are utilizing LiveBall Landing Paths, where they are looking via heat maps, on each page. And to be able to directly exploit what is being said about our pages on our site, via the social web. In order to follow the "stories" being said about our Landing Path Pages.
It seems to me we need a dashboard where we not only see our CRO efforts, but are able to pull in real-time comments and directly engage with our social media audience. If CRO is the next step in SEO, then RTSM (Real-Time Social Measurement) is the next step in Post Click Marketing.
And yes I realize we are at a 3 Way crossroad of SEO, CRO, and RTSM. But if we as marketers are going to get a handle on this new permanent landscape, we must address it now. So this is my suggestion or what I would like to see talked about at one of your webinars. Thank you for listening:)
