Here at ion, we spend day & night on conversion rate optimization (CRO). We live it, think it, eat it and breathe it. But so do a lot of other people—great thought leaders like Tim Ash, Bryan Eisenberg, Brian Massey, Jonathan Mendez and many, many others. They’ve been leading the charge for CRO for years and I’ve always wanted to spend some time picking their brains ‘on the record’. Well, wish fulfilled. I asked a few friends to spend 10 or 15 minutes dishing on conversions, and boy did they deliver.

Thus was born the Conversations on Conversion podcast series. I ask everyone the same five questions…and get some very different answers (along with a few common threads along the way):

  1. Is 2010 really, finally the year of conversion rate optimization?
  2. Are there opportunities in CRO that aren’t currently being capitalized on?
  3. What advice do you give to marketers who are just getting started?
  4. What are the common pitfalls marketers should avoid?
  5. Tell us about a favorite test you ran…we want details!

First up, Tim Ash, CEO of Site Tuners and author of the best selling book, Landing Page Optimization. Tim shares his sage advice in our debut Conversations on Conversion podcast. Listen and enjoy!
