Dynamic CMS Templates Developed and Tested to Convert

People will always find a way to outgrow templates. The mere idea of content types and fields was never going to work in the fast-paced world of conversion optimization. So we rethought everything.

First: Anything Can Be Made Dynamic in LiveBall

LiveBall includes powerful flexible multi-use templates customized for your brand and user experience. These layouts are proven winners, but that doesn’t mean you have to use them.

Anyone with HTML and CSS skills can make virtually anything dynamic in LiveBall. They need no FTP access. No database knowledge. They simply wrap a tag around their image, link or text in their HTML and LiveBall makes the element editable. This way, things can change, and LiveBall can change right along with them.

Second: Proven Layouts are a Great Starting Point

Conversion optimization is a specialized field. At ion, we have an impressive track record of successfully improving conversion rates. In addition to specific client successes, our years of experience have resulted in a set of page layouts that have worked well across hundreds of customers and millions of pages. That’s not to say they are perfect for everyone, but they’re a pretty good starting point — and we include them in LiveBall.

LiveBall comes with 15 different page templates combined into 12 landing page, microsite and conversion path user experiences. You can add your content — fill in the blanks — and launch. Or you can customize by adding and subtracting dynamic elements to your heart’s content.

Each one of the included page templates can be used in literally hundreds of ways to create great pages. By combining these super-flexible pages into microsites or conversion paths, you have a blank canvas with virtually unlimited possibilities.

Third: Centralize as Much Control as You Want To

By letting you make almost anything dynamic, LiveBall also lets you keep almost anything static. There are many organizations that want to maintain control over brand, layout and user experience to ensure that visitors find consistency and comfort among online properties. LiveBall was explicitly designed to make the cohabitation of dynamic and static elements an elegant, intuitive and flexible reality. Freedom is entirely up to each LiveBall customer.

Fourth: Separation of Content and Presentation

LiveBall templates are actually two layers of organization. The page layout includes many different content elements that may or may not be used by a publisher without ill effects. This makes each page highly flexible in what it can display depending on which blanks are filled in. Content is positioned in these page layouts, but it’s styled in a separate layer of themes.

Separate from the page layout, is the page skin or theme. There may be many skins and each one can make the page look and feel completely different. This again lends a great deal of flexibility to support multiple brands, regions, languages, demographics, clients, seasonalities and more. And LiveBall lets you change any experience from one look and feel to another in two clicks.

Flexibility at Three Levels — The Untemplate

To summarize: Almost anything can be made dynamic and managed without code using LiveBall’s image, Flash, text and link editors. We give you fifteen proven starter page layouts bundled into twelve proven microsites, landing pages and conversion path user experiences. You can make as many page layouts as you want and have as many independent look & feel themes on top of them. And you can choose to give your team as much or as little freedom to change things as makes sense for your brand and organization.

Change is good.
