LiveBall Integration
Data Flows In and Out of LiveBall Predictably & Reliably
Passing Data Into LiveBall on the Query String
LiveBall will automatically write data passed in on the query string to a respondent’s record. Using LiveBall’s advanced rules, you can also leverage that data to personalize, customize or otherwise affect the user experience. LiveBall customers often use query string data to pre-populate forms, affect content based on search engine keywords, and pass in unique identifiers used to match up records in exports.
Exchanging Data Using a Web Service
On the fly, LiveBall can read an identifier off of the incoming query string, pass that ID to an external customer web service, and receive data back via XML. This lets customers pass back in real time prior to the first page rendering personalization data that LiveBall can use to affect the display of the page. Any data can be exchanged using this method letting LiveBall behave dynamically within a customer’s ever-changing, data-driven world.
Data Exports
Collecting powerful datapoints on visitors is great, but it doesn’t really do any good unless that data moves to someplace useful. Usually that means your CRM, marketing automation system or some other data hungry machine. That’s where LiveBall’s robust data export facility comes into play.
Whether you’re looking to export to Salesforce.com, post to a web form, send an email, or distribute delimited or vCard files, LiveBall’s flexibility and agility will make it happen.
Code-less Configuration
Even the most demanding exports can be setup without code. Each export type has its own set of point-and-click configurable options. Check off the options needed and fill in the blanks. In the end, your data seamlessly and consistently moves from LiveBall’s internal data collection engine into your CRM or marketing automation system.
Scheduling and Delivery
Depending on your export needs, you may want to schedule when they happen and how they’re distributed. Indicate when the export should run using a checklist of options. If you need to distribute exports via email, it’s easy to make that happen as well.
The reality is that LiveBall exports get configured very infrequently. They just run in the background keeping your marketing ecosystem in the know. All of the export capabilities you might need are here and accessible without code or help from developers.
